it was st.patty's day~ i never celebrated st.patty's day before so i decided to do the green and get the green beer with my girlfriend linh~
but FIRST
this day was also a lil hush hush celebration between the lovers :P

he had a great comeback and it was a sweet one alright:

that was early morning~ it was our unofficial anni, to the boys and girls out there who were "with us" during that time... no hard feelings. we realized eventually we wanted to be together. it seemed things that happened on the 17th of some months were also pretty awesome days and nights of "escapes" :)

later in the evening, another linh did an amazing make up job for her class ~ she is super talented!! gotta give her props !!

it was an awesome awesome day.

last week was my bday

i actually celebrated it a lil earlier to kick start july :P

it was then followed by quite a handful of events!

i want to thank the many birthday wishes/calls/txts/emails/gifts!
i really did appreciate everything my friends have done for me up until this point!

here are just some sweet and simple msgs:

It Flew By~!

i know it's near the end of this wk...but last wkend was interesting! besides the usual eating out....

got to see another 3D movie again and it was UP! this time~~ it was a really sweet movie and got me thinking how i wish i can run away from everything just...like that. heh :P

but sunday~ i got to check out my first airshow at Southport airport...near Portage La Prairie

and i really enjoyed it! i think the CF-18 was pretty nice... :P then the week days started rolling in with work followed by events of seeing my friends almost...every evening :O

but that's how my summer will be for now since i don't plan to take any summer courses during this long break~!

i had no idea...the circus was in town! O_o"

一八七二遊花園: the "L" word

so i had a hard time sleeping and decided to tune into these two guys on cr 2 90.3 who are utterly hilarious~ one of the stories came as being this caller whose a lesbian.

she calls in with this situation:

2 gfs
gf "A" has been doing overseas with her for over a year now
gf "B" just recently of this year, 2009
she has a vacation time of approx 4 mths
she started blooming with gf "B" because long distance relationship with gf "A" is dragging on
she hasnt seen gf "A" in person YET!!
she now has to decide if she should go see gf "A" now that she has the chance and lie to gf "B"
OR don't bother going to see gf "A" and just spend more time with gf "B"

OR just lose both ...

the conversation lasted a real long time cuz this caller is talking to two guys here...obviously she has a heart but at the same time, she's thinking too much and making things so complex.......one of the dj's even told her to try to simplify, the other just said it allcomes down to the chest size ( joking around) and that its all a huge game ( here we go with th game "talk"). she has it all~ she should enjoy this opportunity.
now im a person whose all about being open. its a good thing this caller actually cares, but she started screwing around and we dno if the overseas gf "A" is also screwing around as well. The caller should just take the opportunity to go see the overseas gf for once and explain to gf "B" her situation. being open and experiencing open relationships is all about being honest as well, it works like that at best. if u keep up the fibs and lies....its gonna be a slippery slope~~ so either enjoy being fully happy and open , having everyone at the same level of understanding or........just being a future a-hole and possibly losing it all later on due to ur dignity and reputation from the tangle of complexity and lies. anyways, the caller is still fairly young, whatever happens, will be an experience for her to learn from.

PART B

the conversation extends on!! the caller then complains about gf "A" 's tatoo. gf "A" had a bf before...so she's possibly bisexual here...and the tattoo has the ex-bf's name on it "a yiu" n its funny cuz the dj's said thats stupid to put "significant other's" names as tattoos. . . agreed. caller complains how it bothers her to see it everytime they exchange photos and she wish there was some sorta bandaid to cover it (how cartoonish...haha) the dj's explained the word can be covered fully by a new tattoo or add "yun" to make it "yiu yun" (or something like that).

one of the dj's mentioned how a friend from overseas wanted the word "mo" in relation to "kung fu" and when he went to get the tattoo...the artist wrote the word "mo" as in "NOTHING" hahahahha omg......so the dj's friend was saying to the dj and others " what do you mean NOTHING?? it says KUNG FU, blablahblah~" the dj and his friends replied "IT SAYS NOTHING as in the word 'NOTHING'!!" LOL.......omg......this is why you do not do these things unless you know wat those characters mean!! hahah....man....why cant radio in winnipeg or even in north america be like this???

and i think to myself...what a wonderful world.

i was actually sick for the past few days.......
it wasnt pretty.the experience was .......well just not awesome at all!!

so it wasnt until my body gave out and i collapsed on the hallway.....that i realized.....i really had to go see the doctor. i thought i could man out of this one like the past back in wpg. but nopes, all these ugly symptoms teamed up and got the best of me...physically.

i was so weak......and i threw up...the first and will be the last day of it. cuz i got a shot of some medication to prevent future vomitting. anyways, now i got pretty much several types of medication to take cuz of this stomach flu and after several hrs of rest as well for the rest of the day......im feeling very much alive. i hardly ate at all. just those mcwings yesterday and a peice of toast......for the past day and a half.
this is pretty much like the ultimate diet........to get super sick and bed ridden. O___o

mumble jumble

i wish you are here with me... at the same time , same place....that way i can go explore like we used to.
im really grateful for my friends today, whereever in the world i am .....and its great seeing them again and just catching up on good times :)
im enjoying this relaxing time before i start my new place and hopefully the jet lag can be overcome.
im not too fond of this weather right now, but i am adjusting to it!
every evening from central station, i take the hard and long way home..i walk (real fast), up the many many steps and escalators/walk-a-lators, to the mid level hills where i stay.......its quite a work out..but i love it. no matter how many huge shopping bags i have with me!!! i am used to this...and have been used to this since my many visits back home to hong kong.
im really happy, patience is a virtue! and things do work out eventually :) but i wonder when can i be fully happy and share this with someone who means alot to me and can fully appreciate back such moments.

# last minute task came up to edit for bel's competition / recital

tmr im gonna catch up with phil and we gonna stuff faces full of NACHOS!!!!! X)

and THEN ...i'll start packing for hongkong.
